Born and raised in Connecticut, Matthew relocated to Colorado back in 2016 where he pursued a career in law enforcement. Matthew attended the Peace Officers Academy in Delta, CO, where he received multiple accolades to include special recognition in Defensive Tactics and Arrest Control, Firearms, as well as voted as Class President among his peers.
After serving over six years in law enforcement with both a rural area Police Department and a larger city Sheriff's Office, Matthew accepted an executive management position with High Mesa Protection Services.

Prior to his career in law enforcement, Matthew served in the
United States Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
Matthew has advanced education in Criminal Justice and Business Administration, and is currently furthering his education in this field.
As the Executive Manager of High Mesa Protection Services, Matthew overseas the management of personnel and day to day operations within the company. Additionally, Matthew develops company policy, client and site procedural operations, hiring
procedures, and participates in client contract development and negotiations.

Matthew served over six years in law enforcement in western Colorado with the Meeker Police Department and the Mesa County Sheriff's Office in Grand Junction, CO. During his career in law enforcement, Matthew received special recognition letters from both his previous agencies for exceptional investigatory work, as well as a commendation from the Federal Bureau of Investigations for the successful location and apprehension of a wanted federal fugitive.
